K9 need a secure and comfortable environment to rest and recover.

Specialized equipment such as K9s, heat detection devices, bullet and stab proof vests, training devices, vehicle modifications, and daily essentials.

K9 and their handlers need specialized training.  There is continuous testing and evaluations. 

K9 need Medical attention outside the normal scope.  Some get hurt while on duty and some need very costly procedures that agencies do not have budgets big enough to cover.

K9 demonstrations, educational events, and public relations.  To be able to  promote a positive image of K9 while educating the public on the necessity and importance of K9s.
